Swapping out a speedo cable on an FZR400
Spent this afternoon swapping out the speedo cable on the FZR after it broke on the way home from buying my daytona ( I think it was having a strop ) you would never believe how over complicated this was. Not only do you have to totally strip the fairing off to get access but you have measure out how much of the inner cable sticks out each end. I know that doesn't sound hard but the minute you hold it up to the bike it all slides out the bottom and if its out by as much as 4mm then it doesn't work and this was an original part Grrr.
Got there in the end though and it is well uderrated knowing how fast your traveling.
